Win a 4GB USB Flash Drive

I was taken by surprise the other day when a photographer friend of mine asked me what the little stick was on my keychain. They were referring to my USB Flash Drive.

I explained it was a small portable storage device that can be used in place of a zip disk or CD. It comes in many different sizes from 1GB to 65GB.

Once I explained that to them they ran out and got one to start transferring pictures on so they woud have them with them all the time to share whenever someone asked to see their work.

So I decided if there was one person who didn't know what a USB Flash Drive was there had to be others, So I decided I would have a contest and give one away.

One lucky winner (chosen by RANDOM.ORG) will recieve

I would use the drive to carry my images with me when I travel from city to city talking to different groups of photographers. It would allow me to easily transfer my portfolio to the groups computer for a slide show for the group at the beginning of my talks.

Hi Jenny:

Just used my flash drives today--both the 8 GB and 1 GB and found that was not enough for my new needs so purchased a 32 GB!! this afternoon. Finally purchased a laptop so using the Flashes to transfer stuff . Favorite color is: RED--so I of course, want to win the RED Flash Drive and hang it around my neck so I'll always be prepared. Novel idea: --You are making a fashion statement-- "a Red Flash Drive for post Valentines Day jewelry!"

I would use the flash drive to store my slideshow pics that I have to transfer from my MAC to my PC since my slideshow software is for PC only. sad

I would use the flash drive to keep copies of important documents that I've scanned and saved as PDFs. I would keep that in an emergency kit.

Thanks for the contest, Jenny. I am glad I found your site, because I love taking and looking at photos. I would use the USB drive for photos of my grandkids. I would like to be able to take the photos with me, as everyone I know has a computer, and I could easily share/show the photos off!

Great contest! I saw your post on Twitter, and decided to check it out. I would use the Flash Drive to carry copies of my company's blank contracts, and to store the html of my clients Websites when I wanted to show it, without uploading it to the server.
